Once payment has been received, club T-Shirt and Club stickers will be mailed to you.  As Club officials perfrorm services on a voluntary basis, you should allow up to 4 weeks for mailing.  Alternatively, your "goodies" may be collected at an event by prior arrangement.

To become a Member, please do the following:

1. Print and read the Membership application and Terms and Conditions of Membership.

2. Transfer the Membership fee to the club account (see table of New Membership fees); Bank account details are located on the Membership Application Form. (Please include your surname in the description on transfer).

PayPal usually takes 2-3 days to effect transfer.

3.  Email the following details to newmembership@supra.org.au

You will receive an email confirming acceptance of Membership (which is subject to you completing step 4 shortly thereafter).

4.   Complete the application form and pass it over to one of the Committee Members at the next Club Meet.

5. Register on the forums(see forums page).

Membership Renewal

To make it easier for both Members and the Coordinator,  from herein, all membership renewals are due on 1 November each year - the "annual renewal date".

If you are an existing Member, please simply transfer $30 each year on the annual renewal date.  Bank account details are contained in the Membership Application Form. Alternatively, Membership renewal can be paid at the Christmas party or via PayPal using the above button (select "Membership Renewal" on the drop down menu).

If your existing renewal date falls due prior to 1 November 2009, then there is nothing more to pay until 1 November 2009.

To make it easier to track payments, when you renew, please email membershiprenewal@supra.org.au with your name, forum name, date of payment and method of payment (ie paypal or account transfer). If you need a new T-Shirt or stickers, include this in your email (including size). Any queries, please email foogy@supra.org.au.

Incorporated Association and Rules

The NSW Supra Club Incorporated is an association incorporated under the New South Wales Associations Act 1984 and administered by the Office of Fair Trading. Incorporation gives an entity certain legal advantages in return for accepting certain legal responsibilities. Specifically, an incorporated association receives recognition as a legal entity separate from its members.

Once incorporated, an association has all the powers of an individual and is legally able to do things in its own name, such as own land, sign a lease, sue or be sued and to continue regardless of changes in membership. Although there are benefits to be gained from incorporation, there are also obligations.  For example, incorporation requires the payment of application fees and obliges the association to maintain proper financial and membership records and registers. In addition, it imposes certain reporting obligations on the public officer and committee members.

The rules of an incorporated association form the structure within which the association operates. The rules include the constitution, regulations and by-laws, if any, of the association. The rules of the NSW Supra Club Incorporated may be viewed here: NSW Supra Club Incorporated Rules. For further information on the rules, please refer to www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au.
